Professional mental health care, grounded in science.

Psychotherapy

I understand that starting psychotherapy can feel uncertain, vulnerable, and even intimidating. I come into therapy because something in my life feels overwhelming, stuck, or no longer manageable on my own. I recognize that therapy is not about being “broken,” but about creating a safe and structured space where I can better understand my thoughts, emotions, and patterns, and learn healthier ways to respond to stress, relationships, and life challenges. By engaging in psychotherapy, I am choosing to invest in my mental health, increase my self-awareness, and work toward meaningful and sustainable change, even when the process feels uncomfortable at times.

About Therapy

Charity Care

Charity Care reflects my commitment to expanding access to mental health care for youth, immigrants, and individuals from underserved communities. Through my involvement with Uplift Youth Institute, a nonprofit organization in the United States, I am deeply passionate about supporting young people and immigrant communities who face emotional, cultural, and systemic barriers to care. When appropriate and based on availability, I may offer Charity Care or reduced-fee services to individuals with demonstrated financial need, with the goal of ensuring that financial circumstances do not prevent meaningful engagement in treatment.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Therapy may be helpful if you are feeling overwhelmed, emotionally stuck, distressed by work or relationships, or simply seeking deeper self-understanding. You do not need to be in crisis to benefit from psychotherapy.

  • My clinical work is grounded in evidence-based psychotherapy approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and trauma-informed care. I tailor treatment to each individual by integrating these approaches based on the client’s needs, goals, and cultural context, rather than using a one-size-fits-all model.

  • Session frequency is individualized based on your needs, goals, and clinical recommendations. Many clients begin with weekly sessions, which may be adjusted over time.

  • At this time, I provide psychotherapy exclusively via telehealth in New York. In-person sessions are not offered.

  • Payment options, including insurance participation and self-pay rates, vary. I am happy to discuss fees, insurance, and available options during an initial consultation.

  • In alignment with my commitment to expanding access to mental health care, I may offer Charity Care or reduced-fee services on a limited basis, depending on financial need, clinical appropriateness, and availability.
